Located on Main Street at the southern entrance of downtown Kendallville, our coworking space provides all the amenities business owners, entrepreneurs, and work-from-home professionals need. WHAT IS COWORKING?

Coworking is a flexible, affordable form of office space designed specifically for entrepreneurs, small business owners, work-from-home professionals, and larger businesses looking to provide remote offices for employees.

By sharing amenities and space amongst members, coworking spaces drastically lower the cost of having an office.

Month-to-month "memberships" rather than long-term lease contracts make coworking spaces a practical solution for new businesses who aren't ready to take on a long-term commitment.

Membership at one of our coworking spaces includes all utilities, high-speed internet, 24/7 access, and guest privileges.

231 Main is also home to Historic Downtown Kendallville.

MEMBERSHIP: WHAT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

Day Passes: Just looking for an occasional opportunity to get out of the house? Traveling in the area for a few days? A day pass at our coworking space allows you to access all of the communal areas of the space and gives you a great spot in downtown Kendallville to get all of your work done. Enjoy unlimited come/go privileges and enjoy a meal at one of the many great restaurants or grab an espresso and pastry at WHATCHAmacakes right down the street. Please note that day passes must be scheduled at least one day in advance. Please email info@kendallvillecoworking.com to schedule your day pass.

Cost: $25/day

Monthly Memberships: Looking for a chance to separate work life from home life? Want a professional location without signing a long term contract? A monthly membership allows you 24/7 access to the coworking space. These memberships include hot desks (first-come, first-serve spaces) and dedicated desks (you have your own desk that is always available to you). Includes all utilities, high speed internet, and coffee! Not sure which monthly membership is right for you? Schedule a tour today and we are happy to guide you through your options!

Cost: Hotseat (sit at whichever desk is available) $100/month.

Dedicated Desk (your own desk that is always ready for you) $150/month

Large Dedicated Desk $175/month

Private Offices: Want a place to enjoy the community benefits of coworking, but also have the ability to step away and close the door for some privacy? We have a small number of private offices or team-rooms. This option blends traditional office space with coworking as you get a closed, locked door private office as well as use of the communal spaces.

Cost: $250/month - currently sold out, waiting list available to members

Reservable Spaces: Need a space to host an event or conference? We have a variety of spaces available including our conference area, Lawson room, podcast room, outdoor space and more.

Cost: Prices start at $25/hour - please reach out to discuss your event and options.

Podcast Room: $25/hour (includes access to equipment)

Conference room: starting at $25/hour - up to 10 people

Lawson Room: starting at $75/hour - up to 50 people

Upgrades: Looking for more from your membership? We have a number of optional upgrades including storage space, unlimited podcasting and conference room reservations, printing services and more. In order to take advantage of our upgrades, you must start with a monthly membership.

HISTORIC DOWNTOWN KENDALLVILLE

Kendallville Coworking is a proud part of the Historic Downtown Kendallville organization. Historic Downtown Kendallville, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is an accredited Indiana Main Street and Main Street America affiliate. (TID # 87-4516318.)

This volunteer organization actively seeks opportunities to preserve, develop, and grow the downtown corridor and nearby businesses by focusing on four major areas of advancement:

Marketing and Promotions
Economic Development
Downtown Design & Historic Preservation
Governance

Formerly known as Experience the Heart of Kendallville, the organization was integral in helping the City of Kendallville obtain a $600,000 grant from the Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) to upgrade the Main Street streetscape. The transformation began in 2020 and was completed in late 2021.

In September 2021, Kendallville was also named a PreservINg Main Street Pilot Community, one of only two in the state of Indiana. Historic Downtown Kendallville is stewarding a $2 million grant award to build organizational capacity and transform multiple downtown properties in an effort to preserve the historic integrity and further revitalize the historic district.

Historic Downtown Kendallville sponsors several events and festivals downtown every year to bring vibrancy and new customers to the many locally-owned, small businesses that occupy the historic district that is registered on the National Register. In addition to the Board of Directors, volunteers are also invited to serve on various committees.
